![]() The last thing Telmarious saw was the largest of them, the Bloodmaster, lifted his decapitated head and peered into his eyes. His blood poured out in great arcs, bathing the Bloodletters in the process, only making them howl louder and with more fury. Three swords flew into Telmarious, each at different angles, and he was rended into multiple pieces as the crackling energy from the Hellblades fwooshed through him as if nothing was there. Behind them was a formidable creature, taller than the other Bloodletters, howling to the all around that would hear it. Bloodletters poured from the cut in reality, and the red creatures fell upon Telmarious and his men, fiery glowing swords swinging in great arcs and lighting the sky with their fury. It was then that the air opened up above him, like the slit in the belly of a large beast, and what poured out was the worst imaginable thing possible. He breathed, held it, lining up the head of the beast in his crosshairs and pulled the trigger, his squad sequenced with him and the Tzeentchian beast fell to the ground, his head exploded. He looked through the scope and spied a wounded Fluxmaster, arms waving around, about to cast some sort of spell upon a large neighboring squad of horrors. Telmarious and his men, armed with the latest sniper technology, stalked in their high position and scoped out the leaders of the enemy forces to bring down at will. Below him the Daemonic Incursion was in full force. The final battle for Helmanus IV raged on and Scout Telmarious and his squad skirted the edges of the fray. Cursed to forever crown the Everchosen, but never become him, Belakor lives in a state of pure envy. ![]() Belakor would go on to betray the Gods, in an attempt to serve his own purposes, and would in turn fall right into their trap. Indeed prior to the existence of any Everchosen having been crowned, the ruinous powers would compete over his soul as they now do for Archaon. The Dark Masterīelakor, the first Daemon Prince to have ever existed, as Archaeon, has existed since the formation of the world that was. His ultimate goal is to pierce into the realm of Azyr, and destroy the last bastion of Order and Sigmar along with it. Archaon is a mortal, who is speculated to have lived for eons, having ushered in the end of the world that was, and potentially having destroyed other realities since then. The mortal champion of Chaos, accepting gifts from all gods, but pledging himself to none. Perhaps the greatest encapsulation of the Great Game is no other than Archaon. This Game of course extends well within the mortal realms, where they constantly vie for control of land, resources, and followers. Otherwise, they forever compete within The Great Game, in which each god seeks to dominate the others within the realm of Chaos. Tzeentch, Nurgle, Khorne, Slaanesh, and the Great Horned Rat though allied against Sigmar and the forces of order, are only allies of convenience when it suits them best. Those few who remained would either be forced to concede and accept the Chaos gods as their own or be slaughtered in the wake of their victory. At the battle of the Burning Skies Sigmar was betrayed by Nagash, and in turn was decisively defeated, retreating into Azyr. As the age of Chaos began, the daemons poured in, slaughtering all who did not join them. Aware of the existence of Chaos, they prepared for the eventual day that the Ruinous Powers would invade the mortal realms. ![]() Sigmar and his Pantheon were the all-powerful Gods who sought to shepherd all the races within the mortal realms.
